U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA)
The United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) performed 880 doping control tests during the third quarter of 2001, USADA Chief Executive Officer Terry Madden announced Wednesday. The 880 doping control tests covered 40 sports.
Earlier this year, the United States Olympic Committee’s (USOC) Executive Committee passed a resolution pursuant to which the USOC will announce an athlete’s presumed positive doping test result or other doping rules violation 30 days after the disclosure to the USOC of a determination by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency’s (USADA) Anti-Doping Review Board that sufficient evidence of doping exists to proceed to a hearing.
The United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) signed a bilateral agreement with the Australian Sports Drug Agency (ASDA), USADA Chief Executive Officer Terry Madden announced Monday, in a move that will strengthen the fight against doping in sport.
