USADA’s Outreach Education Speaking sessions provide a fun and interactive education opportunity. A speaker will deliver an informative lesson designed to impart the core principles of sport and the life-lessons that sports can teach.
 
Target Audience
  • Students – Elementary, Middle-School, High School
  • Teachers
  • Athletes at all age levels
  • Coaches
  • Parents
 
Method of Delivery
A facilitated session where key concepts of sport are communicated through Ambassadors that include elite Olympic & Paralympic athletes & coaches, other experts and/or USADA staff.
 
 
Content

Tailored to the audience, content & activities can include, but are not limited to:

  • Why Sport?
  •  Why clean sport?
  •  Competing clean
  •  Pursing victory with Honor
  •  Ethics & Decision-Making
  •  Body Image
  •  Setting Goals
  •  Nutrition
  •  Coaches duty of Care and Moral Obligation
  •  Consequences of using drugs in sport
  •  Core Anti-Doping Issues (TUEs, Prohibited List,Whereabouts/Testing, Rights/Responsibilities)
 
 
 To Partner with USADA for an Outreach Education Speaking Session
 
  •  A guaranteed audience is required.
  • Appropriate venue and facilities are available to conduct the session provided by the requestor.
  • An appropriate site contact is allocated to assist USADA with any on-site logistics.
  • The goals of the USADA Outreach Education Session request are in line with the mission of the USADA Outreach Education program.  

**A small fee may be required in order to accommodate some requests.
