Research In Action
During the period from 2001 through 2007, USADA budgeted $2 million per year to support research related to the deterrence of the use of performance-enhancing drugs in sport. In this section, you can find detailed information about past and current USADA-funded research and its impact on anti-doping science. |
 |
| USADA continues to fund focused projects that relate to its sample collection and drug-testing missions. E-mail USADA if you feel that you have a project that fulfills these criteria. |
 |
Project Proposals
USADA has joined with the United States Olympic Committee, the National Football Leagues, and Major League Baseball to form the Partnership for Clean Competition, Inc (PCC). The PCC has taken the role of funding anti-doping research. The process for applying for support for project proposals can be viewed at the PCC website. The process begins with completing a pre-application on the PCC website. |

Symposia
Since 2002, we have hosted an Annual USADA Symposium on Anti-Doping Science which has included anti-doping program administrators, laboratory directors, pharmaceutical industry scientists, and academic scientists with expertise in a specific area of interest to the anti-doping community from around the globe. Within this section, you can find summaries of all symposia. |
