Olympic Gold Medalist And USADA Athlete Ambassador Dee Dee Trotter, Will Speak To Participants At New Balance Indoor Track & Field Championships

Hundreds of high school age athletes participating in the New Balance Indoor Track & Field Championships hosted by the National Scholastic Sports Foundation, will be treated to a presentation by Dee Dee Trotter, a Track & Field Olympic gold medalist and Athlete Ambassador for the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA). Trotter will be speaking in the Auditorium at The New Balance Track & Field Center at The Armory in New York City, N.Y. on Friday, March 9, 2012 at 6:30 p.m.

Trotter will share her experience as an Olympic Gold Medalist, and talk about the importance of fair play, clean sport and the life lessons she has learned as an athlete. She will also talk about her perspective on the impact of anti-doping programs and how important it is to have a level playing field in sport. Trotter, who participates in the USADA Athlete Ambassador program, is an outspoken advocate for clean competition and combating the use of performance-enhancing drugs in sport.

Event Details:

When: Friday, March 9, 2011 at 6:30 p.m. (media should arrive at 5:45 p.m. to get set up prior to the event starting at 6 p.m.)
