Olympians Evan Bates and Madison Chock know first-hand the importance of clean sport. During the 2022 Winter Games, the medal ceremony for the team figure skating event was canceled due to an un-resolved positive test by a Russian athlete whose team was in first place, meaning all the athletes left Beijing empty handed. The U.S. team was eventually upgraded to first place after the Russian athlete’s 2022 Games results were disqualified, but they had to wait more than two years to receive the medals they deserved.
Clean athletes should never miss out on the moments and opportunities they’ve earned because of anti-doping issues. Join us in calling for a clean Winter Games alongside other athletes who are ready to Invest in Integrity.
Do you invest in integrity?
Evan Bates: Hi, I’m Evan Bates
Madison Chock: And I’m Madison Chock, and we are three-time Olympians, three-time World Champions, and Olympic gold medalists. We’re participating in USADA’s “Invest in Integrity” campaign because we believe in competing with integrity rather than winning at all costs. Through this campaign, we can bring clean sport to the forefront of the 2026 Winter Games by sharing how and why we invest in integrity.
Evan Bates: Clean sport has always been important to us, but it really came to life during the 2022 Winter Games when the team medal ceremony for the figure skating event was canceled. Leaving Beijing without our medals reaffirmed what we already knew, that clean sport is paramount and we need to all work together to ensure a level playing field for all athletes.
Madison Chock: Join the movement by sharing why you invest in integrity.

Anti-Doping Resources
Check Medications on
Global DRO
The Global Drug Reference Online (GlobalDRO.com) provides athletes and support personnel the ability to easily search the prohibited status of a medication and/or ingredient in accordance with the World Anti-Doping Agency Prohibited List. If an athlete can’t find the brand name of their medication on Global DRO, they can also search the active ingredients listed on the medication label, which is often necessary in the case of cold, flu, and other such over-the-counter medications. Global DRO does not contain information on, or that applies to, any dietary supplements.
Realize, Recognize, and Reduce Your Risk from Supplements
It’s easy to assume that if a product is on a store shelf, then it must be safe. But dietary supplements are regulated in a post-market manner, meaning the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) does not evaluate the contents or effects of supplements before they are sold. A harmful or illegal dietary supplement can stay on store shelves for a long time, sometimes even years, before the FDA can remove them.
Supplement Connect is USADA’s educational resource to help you understand the risks of dietary supplements, learn to spot unsafe products, and take practical steps to protect your health and sports eligibility.
