Jeff Cook

Jeff Cook received his Juris Doctor degree, magna cum laude, from Pepperdine University in 2006. While in law school, Cook was a member of the Law Review and was elected to the Order of the Coif. After law school, Cook joined the law firm of O’Melveny & Myers LLP in D.C. and then clerked for Judge Ricardo Urbina in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. After clerking, Cook volunteered for a non-profit for one year, assisting human trafficking victims in Cambodia. In August 2010, Jeff joined the U.S. Attorney’s Office in D.C. where, as a Senior Assistant United States Attorney, he handled human trafficking and sex abuse cases. While at the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Cook was the prosecutor in dozens of trials and grand jury investigations and chaired a multi-agency task force to combat human trafficking within the District of Columbia. In November 2015, Cook joined the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency as its Legal Affairs Director for Olympic Sports. In 2020, Jeff became General Counsel, leading USADA’s HR, legal, and investigative staff. And in 2025, Cook became Chief Legal and Operations Officer, managing test collection operations in addition to the legal responsibilities.
