Another question we receive frequently from athletes regarding the doping control station, “What can I expect when I head to the doping control station at an event? Can I eat or drink?” When you arrive at the doping control station, you can expect a quiet, media-free environment. No video, no pictures are allowed to be taken. You can bring in one athlete representative. The site coordinator will supply some kind of liquid to drink. An athlete, however, is responsible for anything that they consume during their time in the doping control station. And one other thing, you can’t expect any food. If you would like to bring some food, go right ahead, but there will not be any provided by the site coordinator.

USADA is committed to protecting clean athletes and promoting fair competition. As the official anti-doping agency for the United States, USADA provides education, testing, and resources that empower athletes to compete with integrity and confidence.
