This is a really good question, “I have an EpiPen for emergencies, is this something that’s prohibited to use?” So, EpiPens are used to treat severe allergic reactions, or anaphylaxis, and are essentially a life saving treatment. Really important, you do not need a TUE in advance of, or for possessing an EpiPen, but if you do need to use one during the competition period, then you should reach out to the USADA TUE Team to see if a TUE is required. Remember, your health and receiving treatments are the most important things and that should be your first priority.

USADA is committed to protecting clean athletes and promoting fair competition. As the official anti-doping agency for the United States, USADA provides education, testing, and resources that empower athletes to compete with integrity and confidence.
