Pretty topical at the moment, “Is Ozempic prohibited?” No, Ozempic, also known as semaglutide, is not currently prohibited, but it was added to WADA’s Monitoring List in 2024 and it has remained there since. So, this means WADA is monitoring its use and potential abuse by athletes, and they could move it onto the Prohibited List in the future.
