Hi, everyone. I’m Laura Lewis. I’m the Director of Science here at USADA. And today, I’m going to be answering some of the common questions that we get from athletes. So, our first question is, “What do I do if I have a medical emergency and I’m given prohibited substances?” OK, so your health and receiving medical treatment should always be your first priority. So, as soon as you’re able, you should gather up your medical information, and reach out to our TUE Team here at USADA to see if you’re required to apply for a retroactive TUE.

USADA is committed to protecting clean athletes and promoting fair competition. As the official anti-doping agency for the United States, USADA provides education, testing, and resources that empower athletes to compete with integrity and confidence.
