Here’s a common question we get, “Do I get to pick between blood and urine tests?” And the answer is no. You don’t get to pick between urine and blood tests. Blood testing does allow the detection of substances that urine, dried blood spot, and other WADA-approved methods may not be able to detect. Additionally, the decision to do blood or urine testing is predetermined before the doping control officer even comes to collect.
