Hi, my name is Juan Caraveo. I’m the Director of Doping Control Operations at USADA. I’m excited to answer some questions we’ve received from athletes. We’ll go ahead and get started. First question, “Can I call my parents or partner to show up and be my representative during the testing process?” Absolutely. An athlete can have a coach, a parent that is 18 years of age or older, to come and sit with them during the sample collection process.

USADA is committed to protecting clean athletes and promoting fair competition. As the official anti-doping agency for the United States, USADA provides education, testing, and resources that empower athletes to compete with integrity and confidence.
