Hi everyone, here’s an interesting question that we received, “How is the science and testing keeping up with the doping?” It’s really important that as new threats emerge, that scientific research and the analytical methods are evolving in order to detect these new threats. One way is to be able to monitor new substances that are appearing clinically, that can also be used as doping agents and continually developing new testing methods or incorporating them into existing testing methods. Another way is to improve the way that we collect samples by making sample collection less invasive and collecting both urine and blood that can be analyzed for these new substances or doping methods.
