Two great questions that we get from athletes quite often are, “How are athletes selected for testing?” and “How are athletes notified for testing?” Athletes are selected for testing based on the test distribution plan developed by our Testing Team. And athletes are notified by either a DCO or a notifying chaperone.

USADA is committed to protecting clean athletes and promoting fair competition. As the official anti-doping agency for the United States, USADA provides education, testing, and resources that empower athletes to compete with integrity and confidence.
