Hey everyone, this is an interesting question that we frequently receive, “I just received my TUE approval. How long is it valid for?” TUE approvals can be valid for different durations as specified on the TUE approval certificate. TUEs can be approved for only a single use, so they can expire after one day, or for chronic conditions, they can be much longer in duration, depending on the specific condition. We’re required to specify the TUE validity and the duration based on the WADA guidelines that are provided to us.
