OK, this next question we receive quite a lot, “Does USADA play a part in substances or methods being added to the WADA Prohibited List?” Yes. Every year, WADA invites anti-doping organizations, including USADA, to provide feedback on any proposed changes to The List for the following year. But ultimately, the final decision lies with WADA. USADA uses this opportunity to advocate for updates that are both scientificatlly sound, but also protect athletes’ rights. We also communicate directly with WADA during the year to seek clarification on any new and emerging substances that we become aware of.

USADA is committed to protecting clean athletes and promoting fair competition. As the official anti-doping agency for the United States, USADA provides education, testing, and resources that empower athletes to compete with integrity and confidence.
