OK, next question, “What is blood doping?” So, blood doping referes to the use of prohibited substances or methods to artificially increase the amount of red blood cells in your body. And this can be achieved either by taking an erythropoietin-stimulating agent such as EPO, which basically gets your body to produce more red blood cells, or by having a blood transfusion, so, you’re inputting more red blood cells directly into your body. All forms of blood doping are prohibited in sport.
