Sandi Briggs joined USADA in January 2004 and brought with her more than 10 years of financial reporting and analysis experience from the for-profit sector. As Chief Financial Officer for USADA, Briggs is responsible for directing financial processes that ensure compliance with accounting and government standards. In addition, she directs strategy to establish and maintain a high performing and energized workforce with an emphasis on team work and commitment to USADA’s mission.
Prior to joining USADA, Briggs worked at Direct Checks, a subsidiary of Deluxe Corporation, which is focused on selling personal and business checks and related products. While at Direct Checks, Briggs was the Financial Accounting and Reporting Manager, served as the business unit project manager for the implementation of SAP and associated business processing reengineering, as well as managed financial services including budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
Previous to this, Briggs held positions with Plasmon LMS, FoxMeyer Drugs, and Electronic Data Systems (EDS). Briggs was a 2013 recipient of the Women of Influence Award, presented by the Colorado Springs Business Journal. Briggs is a Certified Public Accountant with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Accounting.
