What are the "repeats" options in athlete connect?

This guide explains the “Repeats” options in Athlete Connect, providing step-by-step instructions and screenshots on how to navigate and utilize these options. It is useful for athletes who want to efficiently manage their Whereabouts entries and save time by setting up recurring events.

1. When entering details about a location (e.g., Overnight, 1-Hour, Training, Competition, Other), you must select a repeats option from the “Repeats” dropdown. Leaving “Repeats” as “Never” means that the entry will not repeat. For example, use “Never” if you want to add a one-day competition.

2. The “Every Day” repeats option allows you to select a date range for your entry. For example, an overnight entry for a vacation that starts on January 1 and ends on January 14. The entry will be applied to each day within the date range you indicate.

3. The “Every Week” options allows you to apply an entry to the same day for consecutive weeks within a date range. For example, you want to add a training location and time to each Monday for the next three weeks. You would start by adding your entry start date. You would then select the “Every Week” option from the “Repeats” menu. Lastly, you would enter the series end date for your entry.

4. The “Every Month” option allows you to apply an entry to the same day of the month for consecutive months.

5. The “Custom Interval” option allows you to select certain days of the week you want your entry to apply to within a date range. For example, this option would allow you to add a repeat training entry for Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for an entire quarter. You would select the start date of your entry, and then select the “Custom Interval” repeats option. You would then select the days of the week to which you want to apply the entry. Lastly, you would select the end date of your entry, such as the end of the quarter.

7. Make sure to select an end date for your entries by clicking the calendar icon or entering the “mm/dd/yyyy” details.

8. Once you have selected the appropriate “Repeats” option, click “Set Repeat” to move to the next step of your entry.
