Road to reform
A Path Forward
In response to evidence of institutionalized doping in Russia, a global assembly of leaders representing National Anti-Doping Organisations (NADOs) from around the world developed reform proposals to tackle some of the most pressing issues facing the international anti-doping movement. Simply put, the Copenhagen Reforms aim to prevent the inherent conflict of interest that exists when a sports organization is tasked with both promoting and policing itself. Since they were formulated in August 2016, the reforms have received widespread support from athletes and sport organizations around the world.
Developed by iNADO in partnership with NADOs worldwide, the Road to Reform infographic highlights some of the voices pushing for reform and the major changes needed to protect the rights of clean athletes.
